Kassidy Schultheis lied when she said she wasn't cheating on her boyfriend Daniel Baker. She's actually been hooking up with Francis Bonnefoy almost twice every week. And Tino Vainamoinen was only dating Hannah Clark to cover up his feelings for Berwald Oxenstierna. Katie Fisher's mom was cheating on her dad with their lawer and Constance Brown lied about having sex with Antonio Carriedo.
You don't know the things because you stalk people or beat them up for information. It's because your psychic. You have been "blessed" with the ability to read peoples minds, At least your parents thought it was a blessing. They honestly didn't realize how it felt to hear people complain about you in their heads. Oh boy, people were so much nicer to others faces. If people spoke their mind, World War III would have already broken out.
No one else knows about your abilities. Not your best friend Felciano or his brother Lovino. Not the shy Kiku or the obstreperous Alfred. It was too dangerous. You had read many books about psychics and how they always seem to get involved the FBI. The FBI always wants their abilties to find missing children or to read the minds of accused murderers, You'd never want to do that. You'd be like their puppet, controlled by theirs strings. You hated to be controlled.
You didn't talk to many people because your ability made it hard to trust many. Feliciano and Alfred had insisted they'd be your friend so you had no input on that one. But you can't say it sucks. Feli end up to be your closest companion.
"Ragazza," Lovino hid his hands behind his back. "Which hand is your iPod in?"
This always happened before class. Well, at least when you hang out with Lovino. Your iPod was what blasted out the other students hateful thought. It was a necessity for you to have. But, he always worried that you didn't make enouh friends with them wedged in your hearing center. So he'd always play this game with you in the morning. You'd always win. He had a loud mind.
"She'll never figure it's in my right. It so looked like I put it in my left." You read his mind.
"It's in the right hand." You answered solemnly.
"God damn it!" He cursed, throwing the iPod in your begging hands. "How the hell did you figure it out?'
You giggled. "Luck, I guess."
You took your iPod and shoved your (favorite color) headphones in the socket. The headphones soon boomed with (favorite song) which instantly rid of Lovino's cursing mind.
Well mostly anyway. Peoples thoughts never actually left but you still were able to concentrate on other things.
The bell interrupted the songs chorus. You groaned. Not only did you very much so enjoy that songs chorus, but now the thoughts would return.
"Ragazza, don't worry. Mr. Cordova's always late for class anyway. You can still blast every damn person away with your fucking loud music." Lovino patted your shoulder. "At least until he returns."
It turns out before class, Mr. Cordova has a huff of marijuana. His wife had died almost two years ago and his son got kicked out of college for his party reputation. The drugs are just for calming him down before class. Once again, another fact you learned from invading peoples brains.
You rolled your eyes and hugged him. "Bye asshole."
"Bye Ragazza. Please, try to stop hiding yourself from the world. I don't know why you do that. Your beautiful sand talented and have a rich personality."
"Thanks Lovino." You grinned.
Your self confidence was never high and Lovino knew it. Your parents spend almost no time with you. They spend it on tennis matches with the Bradley's and shopping and golf for your dad. You always had that feeling that they gave a shit less about you.
"No problem Bella."
You headed to first period English, marching to (A song of choice). You got there and made sure to slink in the empty back left. No one ever sat in that area and that was good. The farther away you were from people, the quieter their thoughts would be.
You reached in your (favorite color) messenger bag and pulled out "Water For Chocolate". That was the novel the class was reading in school. It turned out to be so much better then expected so you decided to actually read for once. Normally, you can even read a books mind by touching it. That'll reveal every bit of the plot to you. So whenever you didn't want a read a book for school, you'd tap it and voile! You'd know everything. "Water For Chocolate" might the first book you've read for awhile.
You didn't even bother to look up when Mr. Cordova came in with unfamiliar boy. Unfamiliar but gorgeous.
"Class this is Ludwig Beilschmidt. He just moved here from Berlin, Germany." Mr. Cordova intoduced him. "Okay Ludwig, you can take that empty seat in the back, right next to _____. You'll have to share her book until you get your own copy."
Shit! You had sat in this seat to get away from the thoughts and now Ludwig was going to bring them back!
"Damn, Ludwig's totally smoking hot. Too bad the sexy men always get stuck to bitchy freaks like _____." Emitted from Kassidy's mind as she eyed Ludwig sitting next to you. She probably planned on cheating with Daniel with him as well.
You decided to actually take on good look at him. Pale, blonde hair that somehow looked sexy even though it was primly slicked back. His ice blue eyes were bright, almost blinding you with their perfect, but cold color. His face was well structured and his pale skin was flawless. Oh' and you didn't want to get start on his chiseled muscles and towering height. He was TGTBT just like they'd say in the English Roses.
"Your names ______ right?" He asked me.
You nodded, avoiding eye contact. I did not need any more friends. Especially, a sexy, TGTBT boy.
He placed his left hand on my right hand which was clutching the back of the book. "May I borrow zhis? I'll return it Vednesday."
You blushed for two reasons.
1)You two touched hands.
2)He had a sexy deep voice and a hot German accent.
"I'm SO asking him to the Winter Formal." Constance thought, making you want to decapitate her.
Wait. Were you starting to develop feelings for him? You weren't supposed to do that, You knew you could trust NO ONE, especially random strangers, with your psychic abilities.
"Ummm...sure." You answered, throwing it in front of him.
"Danke. I didn't vant to get behind or anyzhing." He answered.
There was then an awkward silence. You then realized something about him.
You couldn't read his mind.
